Feedback write-up
This assignment requires that you provide and receive feedback among yourselves in the group as a teaching and learning exercise.
>HOW MUCH. 350-400 words (equivalent of a half page, single-spaced)
>TO WHO. One page per person in your group (either paper or electronic version as your group has decided to communicate). You decide the order (which person you want to start with) until you have given feedback to everyone in your group.
>ABOUT WHAT. You decide which of your group member's write-ups you want to select to prepare a response (but the topic must vary--i.e., you can't just use the same topic for everyone in your group).
>HOW. If you received an electronic version, include your comments in context (i.e., in between the paragraphs of the original). If you are exchanging hard copies, then write yours up separately and staple to theirs.
>RETAIN. Keep a copy of this write-up yourself because at the end of the term you will be submitting everything you wrote (not what others sent you but you said to them).
>CONTENT. Do not be overly negative or profusely positive; strike a balanced assessment to help your fellow student improve their ability to communicate through writing. Your write-up should be in paragraph form, and should address the following items that divide between form & content:
>What is an area that they could improve to be more effective communicators in terms of form (what and how it is written)?
>What is the greatest strength from the other student's write-up? What works well about their writing (form assessment)?
>Did you more-so agree/disagree with their assessment (content assessment)?
>What is an area that they could improve to be more effective communicators in terms of content (the substance of their points)?
These are beginning points. You might want to also utilize points from Grading Rubric for the exam
